Students have to apply their broader knowledge of French in order to know which word to search for in the grid, for example le troisième mois de l’année ?. This makes the activity more comprehensive and engaging than a straightforward months and seasons of the year in French vocabulary exercise. The set features 10 differentiated word searches, with an increasing level of challenge. Grids 1-5 feature French prompts and French responses in the grid. Students also complete a list of corresponding translations in English for additional consolidation.
