SQA results day 2020: LIVE

SQA exam results day 2020 has finally (almost) arrived - in a year like no other. For the first time, having made it through even two world wars, exams were cancelled, an early victim of the Covid-19 pandemic as it swept through Scotland.

Since then, there have been some fraught times as a back-up system for grading students was assembled. But one thing never changed: Tuesday 4 August was results day before the coronavirus, and it remained results day after the pandemic hit.

We will be blogging throughout the day, with news, reaction, advice and analysis from across Scotland.
