Mimicking a transport map, this summarises the keywords/content for R094. Students could use them whilst practising for their coursework units as well as it reminds them of what to think about for some of the criteria. Created in A3 so can be printed as A4 or used as part of a display! *R094, R097 and legacy units (R081, R082, R085 and R087) also available!

Countdown to Christmas - Made in Python

Devote a lesson to a Christmas countdown (that can also count down to any date! Include worksheet that students work through and a teacher presentation that guides them through building the code. The sheet has a challenge task and the presentation also includes an extra challenge to stretch the most able students. I’ve used the lesson with low and high sets as it’s fairly flexible It helps if they have studied selection and loops but it can be scaffolded Includes Python files

Over the years, I’ve found digital literacy skills are diminishing due to the change in technology so I’ve started to bring it back! This presentation guides students through some very basic Microsoft Word key skills over 11 tasks. Some tasks include files which they need to open. There is also a final task to re-practice all of the skills.
