This presentation guides students through some very basic Microsoft Word key skills over 11 tasks. Some tasks include files which they need to open. Database project booklet that takes key stage 3 students the entire way through building a database and includes: Creating and saving the database Setting up the table Data validation Creating, customising and using a form Queries Creating, customising and using a report Completed database files for the end of each task included (so they can be given to students for the next task if they are absent/don’t complete a task etc.) It is aimed at lower ability but soon will be an add-on that gives students task to extend their knowledge e.g. macros and more advanced queries. There is also a Booklet 2 which offers ‘extension activities’ if they complete a task early/you want to extend their learning.
