A fun activity looking at the reasons Philip II and Elizabeth I became enemies in the years 1558-1588. Slide 2 refers to a textbook I use, but you could easily change the slide with any book/worksheet you may use. Pupils must then link their knowledge to the emojis, and try to make connections between them. Worked well with my classes.
