A full lesson that I use to introduce my year 10s to the AQA GCSE in RE. This lesson is planned for teaching Christianity and Islam however, it is easily adaptable to whichever religions/themes are taught at your school. This lesson aims to set students up for success in their GCSEs by introducing them to the course, what we will study and how it will be assessed. This is a full lesson and includes detailed keyword sheets for students to use throughout their GCSEs to get them used to using subject specific terminology. Students are made familiar with the AQA GCSE textbooks which I use regularly when teaching this course. Students are also exposed to the exams and how to do well in these. The lesson includes on screen tasks, differentiation for LAT/MAT/HAT students, printable keyword sheets and links to relevant videos.
