Sixth lesson in a series of engaging lessons looking at the positive role that a persons faith can play in their life and in the world. The unit of work covers faith and; life, history, football, wrestling, the media and miracles. This lesson looks at the role miracles play in a persons faith and how they can be a real confirmation of a persons belief in God. Students watch part of a documentary by Morgan Freeman asking questions about faith and miracles. Students then learn about the eternal wall of answered prayers and hear some testimonies of people who have had prayers answered and finally look at the biblical story of the parting of the red sea.

The unit of work covers faith and; life, history, football, wrestling, the media and miracles. Students consider how faith is portrayed in the media in subtle and unsubtle ways. They look at the examples of messianic figures such as Gandalf, Harry Potter and Aslan. They listen to a speech by Chris Pratt using the media to share his faith. Students then learn about how God is sometimes portrayed in the media and how social media can be used with regards to faith.

The unit of work covers faith and; life, history, football, wrestling, the media and miracles. This lesson looks at the unlikely link between a persons faith and wrestling. Students learn about wrestling churches in Bradford and how they are using wrestling to change peoples lives. Students learn about WWE superstars and how they thank God for their lives outside the ring. Students listen to an interview from The Undertaker about what he believes. Finally students learn about a passage in the bible about Jacob wrestling with God and what Christians today can learn from this story.

The unit of work covers faith and; life, history, football, wrestling, the media and miracles. This lesson asks students to consider what is similar and different between faith and football. Students then think about players from the England Nation team and their beliefs about God. Students spend time learning how Sadio Mane has used his wealth to be a benefit to others in his home village, all because of his faith and there is an opportunity for students to complete research on an organisation called Faith + Football.
