Series Title: Emotions in Everyday Life
In Series 2, children explore how to manage their emotions in real-life situations that feel familiar and relatable—from morning routines and classroom pressures to family arguments and bedtime worries. Each episode is crafted with calming storytelling, emotional tools, and reflection challenges that help children practise emotional regulation throughout the day.
This series is especially useful for EYFS and KS1 pupils learning how to carry emotional awareness into their daily routines at home and school.

Children discover three simple morning habits—stretching, thinking positively, and deep breathing—to start the day feeling ready and calm.
Handling Disappointment – Coping When Things Don’t Go as Planned
Pupils learn how to pause, name their feelings, and find a “silver lining” when faced with setbacks, helping to build resilience and adaptability.
Friendship Feelings – Managing Emotions in Friendships
This episode focuses on listening with ears, eyes, and heart. Children reflect on how empathy and careful listening help friendships grow stronger.
Family Dynamics – Navigating Emotions at Home
Children explore how emotions at home can feel intense and learn how to stay calm, express themselves using “I feel” statements, and work through conflicts together.
School Time Emotions – Staying Calm and Focused in Class
Through relatable classroom examples, pupils practise calming strategies such as deep breathing, using encouraging self-talk, and imagining a peaceful “calm spot”.
Bedtime Feelings – Winding Down and Reflecting on the Day
Children are guided through a peaceful bedtime routine using the “bedtime balloon” technique to let go of worries, reflect on the day, and prepare positively for tomorrow.
