Accessing Tes Portal

This guide will take you through how to access the Tes Portal and begin using your Staff Management subscription. It’s important to log in correctly to avoid account issues.

Logging in to the Tes Portal:Ìý

  • Find your invitation: You will have received an email from noreply@tes.com inviting you to log in to the Tes Portal (this is your dashboard to access recruitment and staff management tools). This email comes either during your subscription onboarding or from a colleague at your school who invited you.

  • Account types: When you first log in, you’ll use your existing Tes account (the same email you use on Tes). There are three types of user access in the portal:

    1. Admin – Full access to all areas of Staff Management (recruitment, wellbeing, training). For example, recruitment/HR managers or senior leaders would be Admins.Ìý
    2. Staff – Limited access as determined by Admins. For instance, a staff member might be allowed to review applicants but not post jobs.Ìý
    3. Agent – For external recruitment agents your school works with, giving them access to post and manage jobs for your school if needed.

  • Log in via Tes: Go to tes.com and click Log in, then enter your Tes credentials.

  • Important: Do not create a new account if prompted. Use the Sign in with Tes option (if presented) rather than registering a separate account. All Staff Management users should log in with their existing Tes account to ensure they have the correct permissions.Ìý

  • Access the Portal: Once logged in, click on School Portal (usually found at the top of the Tes homepage after login). If you have access to multiple school accounts, you will be prompted to select which school to view. Choose the relevant school to proceed.Ìý

  • Portal homepage: After selecting your school, you’ll see the Tes Portal homepage with tiles for each product in your Staff Management subscription (e.g., Administration, Recruitment, Training, Wellbeing). This is your dashboard for navigating the platform.

Next steps: If you do not see the Staff Management options or lack Admin access after logging in, contact our support at staffmanagementsupport@tes.com so we can ensure your account is set up correctly. Once you’re in the Portal, you can proceed to set up your users and start posting jobs (vacancies).
