I am an experienced English teacher of both Literature and Language, and also Classical Studies at High School level. You will find text-based resources for novels, poetry, plays and film study in my shop for Years 7 - 13. The resources are generic to the text so are suitable for any curriculum. I am also a passionate believer in effective literacy learning hence the emphasis on phonics resources in my shop.

Designed to show students the difference in paragraph quality (the first main body paragraph needs to follow an effective paragraph structure more closely, address the question and increase the analysis provided.) Paragraph 2, whilst providing relevant information, needs extending. Paragraph 3 contains secure analysis and addresses the question. Students are able to annotate (editable document) and explain where / how / why the essay receives a Merit grade at Level 2 once familiar with the standard and poem.
