Approx. 3/4 lessons based this set product and the Representation of gender and ethnicity for Eduqas GCSE media studies. Including SAMS exam style questions and mark scheme and a comparison to an unseen modern film poster.
A lesson which introduces some basic camera angles and explores camera movements, analyses the camera angles used in print based media and a film trailer and a practical task which encourages students to take some still images using a range of different angles.
This lesson is a great introduction to the skills required for the NEA.

A lesson which explores media regulation as a concept and looks at some media products which have been complained about and banned in the UK. The lesson also focuses on Livingstone and Lunt’s theory of regulation, breaks down and evaluates the ideas of the theory. The lesson focuses on the set TV products for Eduqas A level Media Component 2 but can be very easily adapted to focus on any other media products or industries.

This is a set theory for Eduqas A Level media and this lesson is taught in line with this particular specification, but it is relevant to all study of film!

This lesson focuses on the representation of nation in the media, explores the concept of stereotyping and introduces representations theory and LOTS of media terminology. Also included is a creative task and an essay based task on the representation of nation in The Daily Mail (Trumpquake).
