Glycolysis and the Link Reaction Double Lesson Aerobic Respiration A Level Biology OCR A

(2)
Glycolysis and the Link Reaction Double Lesson Learning intention: To describe the process and site of glycolysis and the link reaction Can easily be split into two lessons if required. Works well in flipped learning or by a traditional method. This was written to meet the OCR A specification but looks like it would meet the requirements of other exam boards or could be easily tweaked. Resources include take away active revision cards for students, which double up as sources of information and can be issued the lesson prior to turn into a flipped learning environment - they read all the information they need, then spend the lesson learning it further/ applying it/ using it. Plenty of activities for students to learn and demontrate progress.

Action Potential Card Sort Revision Card/Activity New OCR A Level

(2)
Useful for students to use for revision, and for teachers to use in a lesson as an activity to help students learn the action potential graph. Includes a 'Do' slide and 'Review' slide. The 'Do' slide is an activity to check understanding, statements can be matched to each part of a blank graph which students can be encouraged to have a go at drawing (you need to source this - many options available on internet for checking students work). The 'Review' are the answers which doubles up as a revision card for the student. Teaching Ideas: The Do can follow chalk and talk or similar as the teaching component, alternatively send one student in a group at a time to view the graph and report back to draw the graph shape. Students can then work out which statement belongs where, this should be followed up by teacher consolidation.

Outstanding Lesson Plan Template, Customisable Seating Plan, Exit Passes, Progress Tool, Behaviour

Outstanding Lesson Plan template and more… A collection of my own useful templates for teachers, to assist teachers in taking teaching to Outstanding. I put together my own quick lesson plan to help myself write outstanding lessons every time according to latest requirements (2018), it can be used as it is and written out for a lesson, in conjunction with some of my own shared ideas. I have decided to share this and other templates I have been working on to save time and help teachers reach outstanding every time. Includes: A ready to use lesson plan template containing all the elements you need to consider for an outstanding lesson, with activity suggestions. A very simple progress tool suggestion, ready to cut and stick or students to copy, just add it to your slide. Simply including a progress tracker will take your lesson to outstanding. A customisable seating plan that is easy to adjust to your own classroom and students, including ideas for what you need to consider to take your lesson to outstanding. Medical slips, to quickly send students to medical with the necessary information and authorisation. Exit ticket to show that teaching is adjusted to the needs of the students and plan the next lesson according to requirement. Behaviour tickets, asking for parent signature, useful for record keeping. Behaviour reports for tricky behaviour classes, useful for keeping track of who is breaking the same rule every lesson. Activity grid suggestion - my outstanding lessons include filling one of these out so that students have a choice of what activity to complete, suggestions included of how to differentiate.

AQA Biology and Trilogy Electron Microscopy and Required Practical NEW 9-1 GCSE

This lesson is a topic 1 lesson of the new AQA Biology and Trilogy 9-1 specification (topic 1). It covers electron microscopy, and I am including here free of charge the slides to allow you to run the required practical as a lesson, you will need your own lab sheets for this etc from your exam board. Each lesson provides take away learning card(s) so the students can keep a record of the content for that lesson, this lesson provides activities to meet the following outcomes. Describe the structure of animal, plant and bacterial cells. These lessons have a basic presentation, which can be made to look more engaging with free pictures from the internet which I cannot sell due to copyright, however the teaching from the lessons can be outstanding when customised to your own school/classes requirements and used together with my other suggested documents (also attached). My lessons contain all of the elements to make an outstanding lesson. I include with this lesson a free copy of my templates and student/teacher agreement, which I use to allow teaching to be outstanding on every level, including many of my own ideas not sold in any other toolkits or publications. I have taken feedback on my outstanding lessons to incorporporate the outstanding features into every lesson, that actually extend beyond the classroom. Any questions or queries please contact me via email.
