How can I use this resourse? Pupils should read each passage 2-3 times to build fluency and then answer the questions or follow the instructions. Pupils should be encouraged to highlight or underline key words as they go. You could do this as a whole class activity with the sheet displayed on the white board, or in small groups. Some pupils will be able to do this independently should you choose to use the sheets as a fast finisher activity for greater depth pupils, or as a reading extension. You could also use the sheets as a grammar lesson, highlighting nouns, adjectives, verbs etc as you read the passage together. What’s included?
