Assembly/ PSHE/ Personal Development/ Careers session for KS4/ KS5 students, reflecting on last year and on setting targets for this year. Includes ppt, student sheet and comprehensive teacher notes as well as entry and exit quiz to measure progress. Considers why resolutions often fail and teaches students how to set meaningful and achievable targets and get into good academic habits.

This provides the complete lesson on work experience, including a preliminary survey on Forms to gain understanding of job sectors students are interested in, a Ppt presentation including discussion activities and a plenary quiz in addition to links of where to gain further information or support.

For some going to university or leaving home for an apprenticeship may be the first time some young people have had to fend for themselves in the kitchen, This lesson looks at basics you will need to get started, cooking suggestions, shopping suggestions, ways to save money and chances for discussion. The lesson is completely adaptable to suit different time allocations, so take a look in advance and see what will work best for your cohort. It also includes Teaching Notes and some Sample Recipes to help students get started.

This is a 5 part resource of 5-10 minute PowerPoint presentations discussing Cornell Notes, Interleaving, Pomodoro Technique, Planning is Key and Revision Techniques. Ideal for tutor time or as part of an assembly, these presentations also include further reading to back up the theory and support you in supporting your sixth formers to adapt to the demands of level 3 courses and reach their full potential.

This PowerPoint presentation is an opportunity for students to expand their awareness of where studying Biology A level or related level 3 subject could lead them. This presentation would be suitable for Biology departments to use to promote careers and work towards Gatsby Benchmark 4 (it can be divided into sections), for Biology Week in October or for a sixth form careers session.

This resource includes a Ppt to explain Gatsby Benchmark 4 within the context of the 8 benchmarks and the recent updated benchmarks for implementation from September 2025. The presentation includes suggestions for how to implement the benchmark and underlines the responsibility of each department. In addition, I have put together a list of sources of posters and information along with suggested visits and experiences.
