This resource covers unit 5.1 from the Stimmt 2 textbook ‘Ich mag meinen Stil’, dealing with clothes and adjective agreements in the accusative case. 48 slides with vocabulary and exercises following closely pages 98 and 99 from the textbook including some additions to it. This resource covers unit 5.3 from the Stimmt 1 textbook ‘Mmm, lecker’, dealing with snacks (using ich mochte/ich hatte gern): an introduction to food and drink and shopping for snacks. 13 slides with vocabulary and exercises following closely pages 102 and 103 from the textbook and including variations to it. NOTE: look at the bottom of the slides (not in presentation mode) as sometimes there are instructions on what to do in each activity.

Viva 3 - Modules 1-4 retrieval practice starters for exam revision These are good to do as starters before a module exam is going to take place, or as revision before end of year exams. PPT contains 4 slides, 1 for module 1 - somos asi; 1 for module 2 - oriéntate; 1 version of module 3 - en forma; and 1 version of module 4 - reciclamos. Please note unit 4.3 is the only unit from module 4 I based this on, as we don’t teach anything else from that module, so if you want to add content from other units, you’ll need to edit the activity. All the other slides include items from each sub-unit within the module, ensuring everything is revisited. Each slide contains 12 questions ranging from very easy - easy - challenging - difficult for students to translate into either language, or come up with a short explanation / phrase. The harder the question, the more points they can take if they get it right. The idea is for them to do it at the back of their book / on a MWB. Answers appear on click. Allow at least 15 minutes of the lesson for it to be done properly.

A 100-slide ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 3.1 ¿Qué te gusta comer? from the Viva 2 textbook. You will find plenty of vocabulary for students to be able to talk at length about food & drink, say what they like and dislike and why, say what they like eating/drinking/having and why, a range of adjectives to describe food & drink, and the introduction of the direct object pronoun to stretch high attainers. Ppt contains vocab sheets if you print these for your ss; vocab tests and activities to put all skills into practice. There are a good amount of starter/plenary ideas included, and 2 vocab test that can be easily adapted. A ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 2.2 ¿En que te gustaria trabajar? from the Viva 3 Rojo textbook. You will find vocabulary that goes beyond the textbook for students to be able to talk about professions, what they’d like to do in the future and why. This unit builds up on the previous module 2.1 Hotel catastrofe, which you can find on my shop. A very straightforward ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 3.4 Durante el recreo from the Viva 1 textbook. Ppt introduces a range of phrases to talk about what you do at break, a reading activity, listening from the book, speaking and finally a closing writing paragraph. You can buy the longer version of this on my shop: Viva 1 - Module 3.4 Durante el recreo + Que haces en clase?, which is a fusion of this sub-unit plus Module 2.2 from the Mira 1 textbook: Que haces en clase?, which I created to stretch the most able, as not only it equips them with things to say they do at break, but also in different lessons. A 54-slide ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 2.1 Que te gusta hacer? from the Viva 1 textbook. Ppt contains plenty of vocabulary to give opinions and talk about free time activities in their infinitive forms at length. It also includes a wide range of adjectives to describe these activities and frequency, always going beyond what the textbook offers. It does not get into verb conjugations at this stage, however it does highlight the 3 different types of infinitives to slowly raise awareness for the next sub-topic. 2 different vocab tests also included. A straightforward ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 3.3 Que hay en tu insti? from the Viva 1 textbook. Ppt introduces school facilities and recaps basic adjectives to describe these. There are a number of activities included to practise the 4 skills. This resource introduces mealtimes and reviews telling the time; students then will practise talking about what they eat on a typical day and when exactly. This 30-slide resource includes extra materials to accompany the textbook to teach topic 6.3 el patrimonio musical y su diversidad. You can see what type of activities are included in the preview of the resource (main focus is on flamenco and the imperfect of subjunctive). Look at the notes at the bottom of each slide for answers to activities and instructions. This bundle includes the introduction of the imperfect subjunctive with a bunch of activities to go with it. Ideal if you have recently taught the present and perfect subjunctive and want to take it further.

A worksheet on LGBT topic that I created based on the AQA A-level Spanish textbook, Unit 3 La Igualdad de los Sexos (3.3 los derechos de los gays y las personas transgenero) but which can be adapted to any textbook. It contains a video and a few follow-up activities, grammar gapfills, vocabulary activities and questions to talk about.

Mega bundle for unit 1A “Meine Familie”, including sub-units 1A.1 to 1A.4 Resources for: Das ist meine Familie, Ich habe einen Bruder, Hast du ein Haustier, und Wie bist du. There is 1extensive powerpoint, containing plenty of activities both from the textbook and created by me. This powerpoint hasbeen created using zoom 1 as guidance, but like I said there’s a lot more than the textbook provides. Other stuff included in this bundle: 2 activities that can be used as starters, 3 worksheets, 2 pieces of homework, and one vocab sheet. Lesson I created specifically to get my GCSE students to be able to write and talk about an ideal holiday using the conditional form of verbs, but that could be used with any able year group. Materials included: a detailed lesson plan, ppt presentation with grammar activities + activities to cover all 4 skills plus a pdf differentiated booklet I created to give to the students to help themselves build their language according to their ability.

A powerpoint I created to help my year 8 and year 9 groups practise verb tenses before the summer exams. Year 8 (second year): present, preterite and near future year 9 (third year): present, preterite, near and simple future. this resource does not include verb endings, but tables for students to fill in and practise verb conjugations in their 6 forms (there are some common irregulars). Answers included for them to work independently and check their own answers. Ppt includes a thinking quilts activity where students will be identifying these tenses in use, as well as typical time markers to go with each tense.
