Full unit of work, aimed at UKS2, on Islam. Lessons include: The 5 Pillars of Islam, The 6 Articles of Faith, How Muslims pray, Features of a Mosque, Importance of the Quran, The Eid festivals, The importance of the afterlife. There is also an additional art lesson looking at Islamic art and geometric design. The lessons have been loosely based on Leicester local authority non-statutory guidance for the RE curriculum.
