Another original story written by me looking at life in a Native American Camp during Winter and emerging Spring. A PDF file for Key Stage 2, I have also included a powerpoint presentation. This is an original poem written by me about a seaside town in Victorian times compared with the town today. It has previously been published as a stand alone poem but not with worksheets included. the worksheets involve comprehension, Spag,internet research, historical facts and drawing conclusions. it is suitable for KS2 or upper KS1.The worksheets allow for differentation or can be printed out as an entire workbook. This resource would link well with a Victorian topic.

Another original short story written by me in a child friendly vocabulary set in 1895, Jayne, the young lady of the house is attending a ball in the manor and waiting patiently for a young suiter to appear. There are various characters in the story and this could be used as an introduction to a long novel, Shakespearian or Dickensian literature in preparation for Grammar/ Secondary school. There are pages to read and discuss so I have included a powerpoint presentation followed by comprehension questions, writing activities and drawing conclusions. There is dictionary work and internet research.

A 15 page PDF file to be used by KS2. Charles Dickens’ life story is written in child friendly vocabulary. There are worksheets included which cover comprehension, spag, sequencing events, internet research, life in Victorian times, vocabulary and composing questions. This will be useful if the children are studying a novel by Dickens or are looking at life in Victorian times.The booklet can be printed out as a complete booklet for each pupil or as individual pages for display purposes.

This is a 20 page PDF file to be used while reading the book or as a workbook after the children have finished reading the story. The first few slides are a history of Auschwitz with comprehension questions and original poems.
