This lesson is about calculating missing angles in triangles. It starts with an activity starter that can create some class discussion about angles in triangles and then moves on to show the maths involved. After the examples, there are some worksheets for students to have a go at and extension questions on a further slide. The lesson progresses on to then discuss isosceles triangles and has another worksheet for those types of questions.

Originally taught to a Year 9 set 1 class; this lesson is to consolidate knowledge with surds. It begins with a surds starter, moves on to recap addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with surds and then has some embedded RAG worksheets for students to complete. There is a short quiz at the end to finish the lesson.

This is a resource with a set of cards that can be printed and cut out to create a version of the game Dobble but with fractions, decimals and percentages. There are slides for cards with 3 numbers and slides for cards with 4 numbers. With 3 numbers there are only 7 cards, with 4 numbers there is 13 cards. Works well with students who are well practised at comparing FDP.
