This is a 3 week plan using the picture book FArTHER by G Baker. The unit has all the planning and resources and questions to go with it. It develops grammar work, creative writing and poetry writing.

Two cards that can be laminated and re used to make times tables games. One is bingo and the other is lotto. My classes have always loved this as a game. They put the multiples of the times tables onto the cards and the teacher calls out the calculation. they mark off if they have the answer.

A4 VISUAL TIMETABLE - for children who need a visual routine everyday, including a space for the teacher’s/TA’s photos. Print it and laminate it and support the child by going through the timetable each morning. Works for children with autism, or anxiety or other learning challenges.

This is a powerpoint presentation full of reading, writing and language ideas for the whole book. There are activities specific to most chapters and a variety of writing genres. I have included some extra slides with extra activities including links to the History topic World War 2. There are also 2 worksheets included with this bundle. Please read the teacher notes on the slides as this book has some sensitive material you should know about before starting.
