Easy to create - just print, cut and laminate! These cards are ideal for vocabulary building or identifying animals. They can be used from Year 1 to Year 6 for a variety of different topics and can be played in a number of different ways. It works best between 2-4 players. Suggested play: Game 1 - all cards are divided by players, one card goes down. Call out a matching symbol and place your card. Repeat until one players cards are gone. Game 2 - Place the cards in the centre of the table with one card given to each player. The pile is turned face up and the players must shout out a matching animal and then win the card. Repeat until all cards have been picked up. Game 3 - This requires a non player to set up and run the game - Place 9 cards in a 3 x 3 grid. The players must shout out when they see three matching symbols on the cards and then collects them. The non-player must reset the grid until all cards are used up.

In PDF form, this Dobble inspired game can be printed out (card or paper), laminated and then it’s good to play. Created and tested with Year 5, the 56 cards contain a variety of maths vocabulary that it suitable across Key Stage Two.

A Personal Learning Checklist/Traffic Light Sheet, based on the latest IB Business Management Specification, for first exams in 2024. The Excel Spreadsheet is split into different tabs: -Landing Page - detailing an overview of the student ranking of themselves and including some basic links I found on-line for revision resources. Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Business Management Toolkit - each tab has a drop down menu linked to the content and month, for students to rank themselves and their understanding. The rankings are then totalled up on the Landing Page, so an overall viewpoint of student progress and understanding is displayed. Can either be used as an Excel Spreadsheet (formulas and conditional formatting are already in place), uploaded to Google Sheets and shared through Google Drive, or each tab can be printed to complete by hand. With my own class, I have created individual files on my own drive, with a copy made of this spreadsheet in each file which is then shared with the student, so that I can share appropriate and individualised revision resources.
