This exercise is intended as a homework task for AQA Music GCSE music but would probably work for other exam boards too. In the AQA exam, this is usually presented as a 1 mark question and is often multiple choice. There are 26 examples of various choirs and ensembles for students to recognise. I have included the files all separately as well as a zipped version and the answers are also included.

In this exercise, students will here 26 2-bar melodies that they must write down the correct rhythm for, using minims, crotchets, quavers and dotted quavers. I have attached all audio files separately and in a zipped folder, as well as the answers and worksheet.

This video can be used by students to help them revise the features of harmony and tonality in the new AQA GCSE music study piece, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. I have also included a PDF of the reduced score so students can print and annote it.
