Instead of ‘divertido’, try … - for positive adjectives.
Instead of ‘aburrido’, try … - for negative adjectives.
Instead of ‘el parque’, try… - for locations/places around town.
Instead of ‘jugar al fútbol’, try… - for free time activities and hobbies (verbs).
Instead of ‘normalmente’, try… - for time phrases, markers and adverbs.
Instead of ‘muy’, try… - for comparatives and intensifiers.
These posters will create a stimulating environment around your classroom, so students can refer to these visual reminders and use a variety of vocabulary. They can also be printed and handed to students as scaffolding for their their writing and speaking tasks.

EAL Spanish to English ABC phonics.
This useful resource is designed to teach basic ABC phonics to non-native English speakers, for those with Spanish as a first language.
The Presentation, which can also be printed or shared as a handy PDF worksheet, includes one slide per letter, the pronunciation of said letter in Spanish, two examples in English, their translation to Spanish and icons to assist with understanding. The use of dual coding via images is particularly useful to those with a low level of reading or illiterate students.
