It then explores religious views on euthanasia before looking at a famous rugby player whose faith helped him until the end. The cycle finishes by looking at different case studies and what different people, including the students feel about them. All resources included in PPT and video link suggestions etc. too. Human Rights GCSE Religious Studies (designed for Eduqas)/Wjec). This is a work pack and PowerPoint which we use for the whole unit, including human rights, prejudice and discrimination and wealth and poverty. It is designed for use by our trained RE teachers and non-specialists. Can also be used for long term cover. As the booklet/work pack is a PowerPoint the resource is adaptable to suit individuals, or to add/remove content. The unit contains Human Rights, Social Justice, Personal Conviction, Censorship, Extremism, Prejudice, Discrimination, Wealth and Poverty. Engage students in a discussion about the merits of voting and why some people choose not to vote before moving on to exploring some key policies in the following areas: Health and Care, Economy and Taxes, Education and Family, Housing, Transport and Environment and the Key Priorities. Students then compete a mock election and you can reveal how they would vote based on the policies above. Voting slips and tables are at the end of the PPT.
