A full 20 lesson scheme of learning focused on Dystopian fiction. No powerpoints but every lesson has been planned with activities, timings, model paragraphs and key words to be taught. A range of extracts each focusing on a different element of Dystopian fiction, with intergrated analytical writing exercises and creative writing / transactional writing tasks. Also included is a resource including a marking grid, frayer model of vocabulary instruction, peer marking slip, and essay planning guide.

Key moments throughout Animal Farm (at least one per chapter). Perfect to use with KS4 GCSE classes as it shows progression of themes from throughout the novel.

Including: explanation of extracts, fully planned lessons (no powerpoints) with activities, timings, model paragraph, sentence starters and peer feedback advice. The unit features a range of Victorian texts from across the era, focusing on different contextual themes. The pack also includes a scaffold support for the analytical writing for LPAs.

20 lesson Gothic Scheme of Learning. No powerpoints, but fully planned lessons with activities, timings, vocabulary to teach with frayer model, analytical writing models and sentence starters. Also included, a pack to support with essay planning, assessment marking, and peer assessment.

One off lesson for Haiku lesson, introduction to the form, where it comes from, some famous examples, and then explain how students should write their own, then some chances for them to write their own.
