Halloween Word Problems

This book of 10-Minute Tests is perfect for helping pupils prepare for the somewhat challenging word-based numerical reasoning in the CEM 11+ test. It contains five tests, each 10-15 minutes long, with a focus on written questions - students need to read the question with care, then take out the relevant mathematical information to solve the problem. Answers included. I’ve successfully used this extensively with my tutees in preparing them for a variety of entrance tests.
