In this resource for KS1 and EYFS children, the objective is to enhance counting skills, pattern recognition, and basic arithmetic. Using 9 pages of colour school themed cards (showing quantities from 1 to 6), number cards, and 4 pattern cards, children will first practice counting objects and matching number cards to colour objects cards. Colour cards include pencils, crayons, books, children and desks. Basic addition and subtraction concepts will be introduced through visual aids, allowing children to combine and remove objects to solve simple problems. They will engage in pattern matching by identifying and creating sequences with the pattern cards and colour cards. A lesson overview is included detailing the 3 lesson ideas. All cards can be duplicated, cut and laminated for matching and sorting games.

Beware Halloween Road Signs KS1

‘Beware Halloween Road Signs’ is a fun KS1 resource that blends Halloween excitement with lessons on road signs and shapes. The pack includes two sets of signs: eight circular designs, such as “No Turning Back”, “Pumpkin Patch Ahead” and “Keep Your Eye on the Road!” with a creepy eyeball, teaching the purpose of informational signs. The six triangular signs feature spooky warnings like “Ghosts Above You,” “Haunted House Ahead,” and “Watch Out for Little Red Devils,” introducing children to the idea of cautionary signs. The resource also provides blank templates for both shapes, encouraging children to design and colour their own Halloween-themed signs. Children can think of and write spooky matching phrases to signs. These activities promote shape recognition, creativity, and fine motor skills while setting a festive classroom atmosphere.

This “Count with Me: Numbers 0 to 5” resource is designed to support early number recognition and counting skills in EYFS and early KS1 settings. It includes large-format flashcards for numbers 0 to 5 in both full colour and black-and-white for printing flexibility. Each number card is paired with familiar, age-appropriate items for children to count (e.g., 3 cats, 5 starfish), supporting one-to-one correspondence. Alongside the flashcards, the pack features a worksheet for each number, including bold number outlines for tracing, simple counting activities, and colouring. Ideal for whole-class introduction, small group work, or individual practice, this resource helps reinforce early maths skills through visual, hands-on learning. Great for displays and Numeracy tables/topics.
