An introduction lesson to Spanish Culture (PPT is fully in English so can be adapted to Spanish), aimed at Year 7,8,9,10 students. Aims to improve the cultural awareness of Spain, in regards to the country’s society, history, geography and culture. Students are encouraged to look for similarities and differences across Spain and other European nations, with several discussion points available. The depth of these discussions varies depending on the year group you are teaching. The lesson also provides students with a wider knowledge of how influential tourism is - its positives and negatives. There is a quiz on Spain, with answers provided, that can take up between 10-30 minutes depending on how you utilise the resource.

A workbook suitable for French A/AS level students that helps them to consolidate and revise tricky aspects of grammar. The resource also comes with a separate answers booklet. A PowerPoint lesson, plus two booklets that would be perfect for an A level revision lesson (pre speaking exam). This can also be used for any revision workshops held during the holidays. Aimed at students of A level French doing the AQA exam. The PowerPoint provides a comprehensive lesson, full of grammar activities (created specifically based on what aspects tend to be tricky for students in the exam); breakdowns and explanations of each paper plus specific top-tips, advice and tasks; shows how to plan the essay, plus structure and language tips, and also includes information and advice on the speaking exam. This also comes with 2 booklets. One of which is for essay guidance, showing students how to plan, write the essays, and gives a comprehensive checklist on what to check over once they have finished the essay. It also provides very useful top tips, and vocabulary they could use to boost their expression in French. The second booklet is on the speaking exam. It provides guidance on the ‘card’ part, and demonstrates what to do for the IRP, providing a list of suggested titles. There is a large collation of vocabulary to use in the speaking exam, too.

A revision lesson aimed at students studying AQA GCSE Spanish who have their Speaking and Writing exam coming up. All themes covered during the lesson. By the end of it, students should feel comfortable talking or writing about every theme. Time is also spent on using filler phrases, expanding vocabulary and going through the criteria of how to be successful.

A revision lesson aimed at A level students studying Bonjour Tristesse for the paper 2 exam of AQA’s new spec. Includes a PPT that explores: recapping of the key themes the book as an existentialist text the book as a psychological depiction the resemblance between the author and the protagonist the critical reception this book was subjected to the dilemma and the choice of Cecile Activities include translation and discussion throughout. The main activity is based around essay writing. The students have 10-15 mins to plan a response to an essay question done as either HW, an assessment or in another lesson. They are then given an exemplar response (included) to that question to get them familiarised with the mark scheme, etc.

A full lesson covering las asignaturas. Includes: Revision of all the school subjects students should know, done orally via recap A listening task - 5 subjects are mentioned and students have to recognise what they are plus why they are being spoken about. You are able to differentiate between abilities here by getting lower abilities to recognise the subject, and then higher abilities are tested on recognising certain phrases like ‘vale la pena’.
