I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

I had fun with this one !!! About 60 questions in total !!! Question 1 consists of 26 parts each being a straight forward conversion of metric units. Question 2 has 10 parts all with the emphasis on the prefix - how many watts in a Kw etc - I always found this to be really useful Q3 - 24 are all worded problem involving the conversion of units. This is an excellent worksheet which can be used for Y6/7 all the way up to revising GCSE - a great set of questions. A simple 9 page wall display outlining the definition of the 7 quadrilaterals and their properties. Print them and laminate them they make for an effective teaching aid. Each quadrilateral has its own page so the display can be projected onto a whiteboard too. I finished it off with a summary table. Hope you find it useful.

The first PDF gives you 12 graphs of the exponential graph and requests the student to draw 12 transformations - answers are provided. The second PDF gives you the same 12 graphs and asks you to identify the transformations. These questions took an age to draw and will save you so much time in preparation. This is a massive amount of work for only £3 6 PDFs + Answers covering everything you will need on fractions for KS3 and KS4. Too demanding for KS2 and less able KS3 though !!! Cancelling Fractions - 25 questions getting progressively more difficult and finishing with a few worded questions. Top - Heavy Fractions and Mixed Numbers - almost 50 questions changing between the two forms. Addition and Subtraction Of Fractions - I grouped these together but there are 12 questions on adding followed by 12 on subtraction followed by 12 mixed and then 25 using mixed numbers !!! - over 60 questions Multiplication of Fractions - 26 questions on multiplication including mixed numbers followed by some worded questions. Division of Fractions - 26 questions on division including several with mixed numbers. Fractions of an amount - 15 worded questions covering fractions of an amount - using larger numbers and questions are more detailed than the usual KS2 sheets that I have seen. Answers are included !!

Aimed at the higher level GCSE pupl, this is a phenomenal set of graphs in two formats: Students are shown 42 different graphs and have to work out the equation of the graph using roots and intercepts. I have used this Powerpoint for years and students always find it useful. Graphs include: Straight Lines Quadratics Cubics Power curves Square roots Reciprocals Trigonometrical and even one Quartic. You can, of course, rearrange the slides and take some of the more difficult questions out if you wish. It is an excellent exercise or starter. I have included the Powerpoint and the same 42 graphs on a PDF for tutors and revision. These took a tremendous amount of work and are absolutely priceless.
