Ten Different scenarios to analyse by students to look at Sources of Finance: What Factors need to be considered. Can be used as a full class discussion / group and pairwork / pinned up around the room or given as homework. This resource is aimed at Year 12/13 so is perfect for A Level and IB Diploma. I have another resource with much simpler resources for GCSE students. Task: For each of the different business scenarios, decide what type of finance the business in question should use and why. There might be more than one appropriate source of finance - you could decide on a combination but make sure you explain why you have decided on those choices. This is lesson six of the Spreadsheet basics series of lessons. This gets students to understand how to use functions in order to do simple calculations (SUM, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN) for a class of students with a mark-sheet for a fictional class. There is an advanced version of the mark-sheet for those super fast students which also needs them to work out how to calculate ranges and relies on earlier taught content on this course which required them to convert scores to percentages.
