Distance-Time Graph Performance Game

A simple and very interactive way to introduce distance-time graphs. Challenge students to act out each of four graphs as the timer moves across. You will need to mark out an 8m stretch of classroom for them to move along. I use a high score table adding each competitor in turn. Animated correct answers are supplied as well as an embedded worksheet - a fun consolidation task.

I selected 18 questions from the past papers to use with my year 13 class. All the answers are carefully presented. The difficulty is graded for every question ★★★☆☆ The formatting enabled me to use the questions on our remote learning platform. I tried to choose questions with interesting examples. So not the salad spinner one. In the 2020 lockdown I developed four interactive ebooks to help teach and test material for the Engineering unit. These are strongly recommended. Physics Extension work - BPhO Olympiad Challenge questions and solutions

Use these questions with your brightest and best year 12 students to occupy and stretch them from the very beginning of the A level physics course. The year 12 A level Physics Olympiad exams are in January and March every year. It’s tricky to start training students on challenging questions at the start of their A level studies as they haven’t covered much relevant content. The questions reproduced in this resource are suitable for the start of the A level physics course - the problem solving is tricky but builds on existing GCSE knowledge. Solutions are provided.
