I am a science teacher passionate about teaching Earth Science, Geology, Geography and Oceanography and sharing my science material/products to a wider audience.
My main focus is middle and high school, but since ability levels and needs vary widely, materials found in my shop may be useful to students from other grade levels.
I am also selling my educational resources on TpT website but under a different name, so in case you see the same resources there, it doesn't mean that they were copied.

Tarsia Puzzle: EUROPEAN COUNTRIES AND FLAGS (2 Puzzles)
In this activity, students will practice matching all 45 European countries with their flags, as they piece together the pieces of each tarsia puzzle. Students will match their answers with a separate puzzle piece until all the countries have βfoundβ their flag and the puzzle is completed.
These GEOGRAPHY TARSIA PUZZLES are a FUN way for students to practice their multiplication facts that doesnβt involve a worksheet. The puzzle activity works well for individuals, as well as small groups. Alternatively, you can set up stations around the room, and have students or groups rotate to each station for a new math puzzle/game.
This resource includes:
2 different tarsia puzzles; one with 21 countries and the another one with 24 countries
2 answer keys
Teacher directions
List of Countries Included:
Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and United Kingdom.

Virtual Field Trip & Scavenger Hunt (GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS): WORLD CITIES
Virtual field trips are an amazing tool to use to take students on fun learning experiences from the comfort of your classroom (or living room during distance learning!).
Around the globe, most of Earthβs citizens live and work in cities. A few cities are so large, wealthy, historic, or beautiful that they are world famous, attracting thousands of tourists and visitors. This virtual field trip takes you on a tour of six of the worldβs most impressive cities and the sights you can see there. First you will visit Tokyo, New York and San Francisco. Then you will go to Paris and London, followed with a final visit to Hong Kong in China.
As the students go through this Google Expedition, they will be asked to complete an accompanying scavenger hunt by answering open-ended questions about the different places they are exploring.
Whatβs Needed:
All you need is a set of mobile devices for the students and a device for yourself (the guide/teacher) that all have the free βGoogle Expeditions Appβ before downloading your expedition. To make the activity a truly immersive VR experience, you will also need VR headsets for the students (NOT included in this resource), but it is STILL possible to participate in the virtual field trips without a VR headset.
When I use this in my classroom as a whole class activity, the students usually work in groups of three, so I use about 10 viewers. However, you can also use it as a part of a station rotation activity, so you would only need a couple of viewers.
Whatβs Included:
-Instructions on how to download and use the Google Expedition App for the virtual field trip
-Instructions on how to how to use the Google Expedition App with and without a βguideβ
-Link to six 360-degrees panoramic virtual field tours of some of the worldβs cities.
-PDF version of the scavenger hunt
-Editable Word version of the scavenger hunt to meet the needs of your students and to be able to customize their learning experience.
-Editable Google Document of the scavenger hunt (which can be used/assigned in Google Classroomsβ’)
-Editable Google Form of the scavenger hunt (which can be used/assigned in -Google Classroomsβ’)
-Answer key to the scavenger hunt
-Extension ideas
