This worksheet activity is suitable for Reception upwards. It can be adapted into sorting numbers into 2s or 5s and used as revision. The number track must first be completed and then the children attempt the calculations. In practice, the children are making their own number track. This is an adaptation of the sorting in tens worksheets.

This resource is about comparing two lengths using a strip of paper cut to the same height of each child in the class. Lesson plan and PowerPoint Presentation included - can be adapted. The children will enjoy this activity. It is a precursor to other types of measurements children will be learning later on in maths. The only preparation needed is cutting strips of paper (colour paper if preferred) not too thin to the height of each child to carry out the activity.

Arrays are prerequisite for children to learn multiplication. It may be beneficial if children use unifix cubes with the worksheets and then write the multiplication sentence.
