The lesson focuses on Oprah Winfrey’s Golden Globes speech - unpicking rhetorical devices and linguistic features and analysing them. The lesson includes a student response and an opportunity for students to apply their understanding to their own analytical answer. This is an interactive lesson that allows students to practie their analysis, whilst focusing on something that is current and interesting/engaging to them.
