My experience as a teacher and a mum inspire me to create resources that support educators and appeal to children with special educational needs, particularly autism and ADHD. My eldest son’s autism and ADHD have taught me a lotand here I share what I hope will engage others who learn differently and help those who are teaching them either in the classroom or at home. I love creating visual and hands-on activities that make learning more playful.

The nouns are all animals and include a range of plural forms (add s, -y becomes -ies, plural form is the same as singular form as in deer, etc.) to provide varying levels of challenge, and a singular noun which ends in s (where should the apostrophe go?) Spelling Lists Year 6

A set of spelling lists for the school year which I have used with Year 6. It is a mixture of statutory lists and vocabulary/spelling rules which I have found useful at this age in mixed ability prep school classes. Lists are each 25 words long, with children learning the first 15 or 20 or the full list, depending on ability. I hope it is useful, perhaps to someone working in a school that isn’t using a scheme.
