Teachers can use these activities in different order, or pick and choose your favourites, based on your students’ needs.
Starting with a Find someone who (that might need adapted to the school timetable), then an oral translation task in pairs to retrieve the vocabulary, then to gamify the classroom students play Oral Ping Pong, Faster and Fluency Cards that really brings the competition out, to end with a scaffolded conversation task.
These activities are to be used after the students are very familiar with the vocabulary. I am following the Viva 1 Book, so if you use Viva for KS3 Spanish you might find the same vocabulary.
Lesson 1 is a retrieval practice of school subjects.
There are a few sentence builders with part of the translation or without translation for the students to retrieve the vocabulary, you can use mini whiteboards for this.

The lesson will end with an speaking practice.

Contains a series of activities for student to retrieve the vocabulary from previous lessons where they learned the school subjects.

This an excellent lesson to revise hair and eyes using mini whiteboards and then giving the opportunity for students to practise speaking.
