This listening pack is suitable for more advanced Year 9 students or students studying GCSE music (14 -16 years).
Each homework sheet focuses on a different contemporary composer. Pupils are required to listen to a piece of music on YouTube or Spotify and answer questions relating to the given music.
Pupils can access the YouTube clip either by scanning the QR code on the sheet or following the link given.
Each listening sheet is marked out of 10. There is an optional āStretch and challengeā question at the end of each sheet worth 5 extra marks. This question requires more detailed use of musical key terms.
