Lesson used for an outstanding lesson observation. Used for KS3 but can be used for KS4. No powerpoint needed but need to make small quadrats… cut out and laminate they are 5cm x 5cm. Both worksheets need to be printed onto A3. The worksheet is a booklet using one page of A3. Quadrat sampling on daisies… Allows analysis of data, biodiversity and sampling.

STEM Science Club Bath Bombs Teacher and Pupil Resource This resource has been used for 2 years within department. The method has been used and tested. The resource includes a completed and blank document. The blank one is given to the pupils to complete. It has information on the equipment, risk hazards, method, careers and links to curriculum. This resource hits Gatsby targets as well as extracurricular teaching standards 1 and 8. Pupils engage and use STEM skills. There are more experiments with similar resources on the TES Shop. This includes a booklet that has a yearly schedule with one practical per week.

A fantastic resource for starters or plenaries. 9 question recall grid pupils pick which questions they would like to do ranging in 3 levels. Mild, Medium or Hot following the Nando’s heat scale. This allows for differentiation within the classroom and allows for pupils to challenge themselves appropriately . The resource includes an answer page and markscheme.

AQA Biology Exam Practice Cell Replication and Transport Walk and Talk exam practice this is the sample version full version has 1 hours’ worth. First slide contains the question and help with command words Second slide contains a clue with some revision material Third slide includes an answer When I deliver the lesson, I write on the board the answer I would have wrote or I get a pupil to write it and we compare.
