Liverpool 2 is the focus for sea improvements, while Heathrow is the example used to overview improvements to airport infrastructure.

The topic looks at the processes of erosion & weathering, transportation and deposition. Coastal landforms of both erosion and deposition are investigated, along with the mass movement events that occur on soft coastlines. Finally the module looks at how hard and soft engineering methods can be used to protect the coast from flooding and erosion.
