Primary PSHE - Year 4 - Digital Boundaries Lesson Bundle This 5-week scheme of work is taken from the EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme. Our curriculum builds progressively, leading to this Year 4 unit on Digital Boundaries. This unit builds on prior learning, helping students understand how to stay safe online. In Year 1, we explored screen time and safety through stories like Chicken Clicking and Once Upon a Time Online. In Year 2, we learned about SafeSearch, secrets, and protecting personal information. In Year 3, we focused on age-appropriate content and online privacy. In Year 4, we will examine limiting screen time, explore age restrictions, improve online communication skills, and recognize harmful content. Primary PSHE - Year 4 -Healthy Living Lesson Bundle This 6-week scheme of work is taken from the EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme. Our curriculum builds progressively year on year, leading to this Year 4 unit on Healthy Lifestyles. This unit will build on the foundational learning from previous years, helping students deepen their understanding of how to make healthy choices and take care of their bodies. In Year 1, we learned about the importance of handwashing, healthy foods, dental care, and staying active. In Year 2, we explored healthy habits such as bedtime routines and brushing our teeth, alongside understanding the safe use of medicines. In Year 3, we looked at how food, hydration, and lifestyle choices impact our health. Now, in Year 4, we will continue this journey by focusing on how our bodies respond to illness, how vaccines and medicines protect us, and understanding how factors like germs, allergies, and drugs can affect our well-being. Our progressive curriculum builds sequentially year on year, culminating in this Year 5 unit on Safe Relationships. This unit will deepen students’ understanding of different family structures and what makes relationships positive and loving.
