This activity will involve some self reflection and an understanding of the past, present, future, and our emotions, dreams, wishes, and goals. If the student could have any wish in the world, what would it be? What would they change personally, in their community, at school, or in the wider world? A following up activity could look at the steps needed to be put in place to make the wish list become a reality.

What is the origin of the word window, and what does it mean in Old Norse? Do we still use Vikings words in the English language today? I made this page for my students as part of our module on the Vikings in Britain.

A settlements and geography themed colouring page created for a lesson about hamlets, villages, towns, and cities. This is the church and clock tower on the tiny British Channel Island of Alderney. The island has a population of around 1000 but a new church had to built in the 1900s as the island's population increased when British soldiers were stationed on the island and the church was too small to accommodate all the new arrivals. Today the island has more than 4 churches, and just a handful of shops so everything has to be brought in by plane or ship.
