Welcome to The Curiosity Crows!
I’m an autistic explorer with a passion for natural sciences and the planet. I create hand-drawn, minimalist, black and white coloring pages—ideal for early finishers, students who need a brain break, or as top-up pages and wet break time fillers.
You’ll also find photo bundles of images taken in the days of camera film rolls, perfect for bringing a touch of exploration and nostalgia into your lessons. And paper dolls for top-up activities for your class.

Photos from my time living with a Bedouin community in the desert of Wadi Rhum, Jordan. Taken on slide film, before digital cameras were invented. May be useful for exploring other countries and cultures and comparing life where you live and life in a desert environment.

A collection of photos of the underwater sculptures at the marine reserve in Grenada, West Indies. These were created by a British artist and put on the site of coral damage after Hurricane Ivan. They now have coral growing on them and are a new habitat for the fish and underwater life. I was living and working in Grenada at this time. The photos were taken on slide film, pre digital photography age, but could be used to talk about the effects of weather, coral bleaching, environment, ocean, sea, animals, art, or scuba diving.
A collection of photos, mainly of pilot whales, and a sperm whale. Taken as part of my cetacean research in the Mediterranean and Alboran Sea around the coast of Spain. Taken on slide film, pre digital cameras. I would be delighted to follow up with a free Skype in the Classroom session about my experiences at sea if this was of interest for students learning about the ocean, sea, nature, environment, or what it is like to work at sea.
A small collection of turtle photos taken during my adventures as a scuba diver. Please note that these were taken on slide film as this was pre digital cameras. Suggested for use as part of a lesson on animals, ocean, seaside, evolution, and the environment.

I drew this rabbit for my class as part of our module on animals and pets. Many of my students had English as a foreign language and we had no electricity, books, or resources so I had to put create something that I could get printed simply in black and white so it took no resources or prep time and would suit different abilities. This was something they could colour in for fun and the more able students were able to turn this into a paper craft activity to cut out and tell/perform stories with and to draw their own new characters.
I’m more than happy for you to use the PNG file to add it into your own bigger activities or work sheets and to use commercially.
