Hello! I'm Miss B, a maths geek who specialises in creating high-quality on-demand maths content. I was a maths teacher in the UK for over 10 years, and I am a current GCSE examiner for three exam boards. I spend my time working from home with my two dogs, training teachers to teach mathematics effectively, teaching maths to home-educated learners, tutoring private GCSE and A Level learners and creating mathematics education content for a variety of organisations. Enjoy!

(1)
A weekly bell activity. The slide is displayed as students enter the classroom. Students have 30 seconds to 1 minute after the bell to remember as many of the key words as they can. When the time is up, students have 2 minutes to write as many of the words as they can in the back of their book. The slide is then displayed again and the students self-assess, checking spellings and correcting where appropriate. As an extension students can be asked to write definitions of the key words too.
