Key stage 3 ~ year 8 ~ introductory lesson on the topic of Speed. In this lesson pupils will learn how to calculate speed from distance travelled and time taken, explain the difference between instantaneous and average speed and describe relative motion.

Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the Activate 2 KS3 course.
