4 different coloured poker chips e.g. red, blue, orange and green
You hand out the blank chips to students and you keep the chips with the varied questioning starts on them
The question starts have been taken from a question matrix
It is up to you, you can use them as a differentiation tool, but the idea is that you take a red one for example, from your own pile and then look for an answer from a student who has a blank red poker chip. And so on. It's as simple as that!
