Key stage 3 ~ year 7 ~ complete lesson on observing cells using a light microscope. In this lesson students will learn how to describe what a cell is, explain how to use a microscope to look at cells and calculate the total magnification of a microscope.

These slides can be used as a stand-alone or incorporated into a practical lesson. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students.
