This bundle contains three great lesson plans to teach children all about Lent. It is suitable for ages 7 -11. The three lessons are:
1) Ash Wednesday/Start of Lent,
2) Lent - Giving Something Up; and
3) Lent - Doing Good Deeds.
Each plan (pdf) contains detailed instructions, a list of objectives for three levels of abilities, questions and answers for the children, whole class discussions and literacy activities for the children to do at their desks. Each lesson contains a PowerPoint with relevant facts and stories. (This is not editable. Click 'Read Only' to open. Some of the images are only revealed when the PowerPoint is played as a slideshow with the animations). There are also templates which can be used for the literacy activities so that no further preparation is required!
Each lesson is also available individually.
