KS2 SPAG Grammar and Punctuation practice test; closely modeled on the 2016 sample papers released by the government.

Questions have been adapted to include different words and sentences, but line of questioning is the same.

This will be a useful resource for Year 6 teachers looking to assess students under the new SATS English testing conditions for 2016.

Other tests available for Maths:

Test 2 /teaching-resource/ks2-new-2016-sats-style-mathematics-2-reasoning-year-6-11224225
Test 3 /teaching-resource/ks2-new-2016-sats-style-mathematics-3-reasoning-test-year-6-11224238
(To date my previous Grammar practice test paper, written for when SPAG was introduced in the 2013 SATS, has received over 5000 downloads and positive reviews.)

I am disappointed in this PAID resource as it is littered with mistakes. There are many grammatical errors which negates the purpose of this test! 'Barnabas read books'; blue-water bottle and half-eaten sandwich. Also, the past progressive question is incorrect in the mark scheme. I would like my money back.

Useful - saved me lots of time so really worth getting! Helpful that the Word version was included as there were a few errors to correct; e.g. 'Despite the weather' is not a subordinate clause.
