Shwmae Day Fun – Welsh Language Resource for Early Years / PS1
Celebrate Shwmae Day with this playful resource designed to encourage children to use Welsh in sentences while having fun!
You’ll get:
2 funny face animals per page, each with speech bubbles for children to write in.
First page includes 2 example pages showing ideas of what children could write in the bubbles, giving them inspiration.
Encourages learners to practice Welsh sentence formation in a creative and playful way.
Last page features small, line-drawn versions of the animals to cut out and stick into books, allowing children to draw their own speech bubbles and add their own ideas.
Perfect for classroom, home learning, or small group activities, giving children a sense of independence and creativity while practicing language skills.

Dathlwch Dydd Shwmae gyda’r adnodd hwyliog yma sy’n annog plant i ddefnyddio’r Gymraeg mewn brawddegau tra’n cael hwyl!
Byddwch chi’n cael:
2 anifail wyneb difyr fesul tudalen, pob un gyda bocsys siarad i blant ysgrifennu ynddynt.
Mae’r dudalen gyntaf yn cynnwys 2 enghraifft o beth y gallai plant ei ysgrifennu yn y bocsys siarad, i roi ysbrydoliaeth iddynt.
Yn annog dysgwyr i ymarfer ffurfio brawddegau Cymraeg mewn ffordd greadigol a hwyliog.
Y dudalen olaf yn cynnwys fersiynau bach, llinell-graffedig o’r anifeiliaid i’w torri a’i gludo i lyfrau, gan ganiatáu i blant dylunio eu bocsys siarad eu hunain a ychwanegu eu syniadau.
Perffaith ar gyfer ystafell ddosbarth, dysgu cartref, neu weithgareddau grŵp bach, gan roi cyfle i blant fod yn annibynnol a chreadigol tra’n ymarfer sgiliau iaith.
