An activity which encourages students to add more detail to their writing.
Students are asked to write instructions on ‘how to wake someone up’. A discussion around kindness, compassion, and adding lots of detail happens on the ideal way to wake someone up. Students then write a paragraph explaining in as much detail as they can.
