This guide will explain how to inform head of years about an intelligence event.
You can set up your Intelligence Events to inform specific members of staff when triggered. Intelligence event notifications are received by email and also appear in theÌýnotifications centreÌý(bellÌýiconÌýin the top right hand corner of Class Charts).
To inform heads of year when an event is triggered, ensure that you haveÌýset upÌýheads for your year groupsÌý(SIMS linked schools will have the heads of year assigned automatically) and click on theÌýAnalyticsÌýoption in the top menu.
Next, selectÌýIntel EventsÌýfrom the side menu on the left.
Click on theÌýpencilÌýiconÌýto begin editing your chosen intelligence event.
In theÌýActionsÌýcolumn, selectÌýInform member of staffÌýfrom theÌýAdd actionÌýdrop down menu.
Another popup will appear. Tick theÌýHead of year (if available)Ìýoption toÌýinform the pupil’s head of year when the pupil successfully triggers the intelligence event.
